Can you put a Draw 4 card on a Draw 2 card in UNO?

If it was the player previous to you who played the Draw 2, you cannot put a Draw 4 over it to prevent drawing 2 cards.

Each player is dealt 7 cards at the beginning of the game.

What do the 0 cards in UNO mean?

The 0 cards in UNO are played the same way as any other numbered card.

Can you end up on a special card in UNO?

You can save a special card to use as your last card to win at UNO. It is one of the strategies we recommend to win.

Is stacking allowed in UNO?

Most people don’t know this, but the official UNO rules don’t allow the stacking of either Draw 2 or Wild Draw 4 cards.

However, the stacking of Draw 2 cards has become a popular house rule among UNO players worldwide that it may be considered now an unofficial UNO rule.

Make sure to agree to this rule at the beginning of each game to avoid misunderstandings during the game.

Can you play two identical cards at once in UNO?

The first Wild Draw 4 card must be resolved before the next player in turn may play.

Does a Wild Draw 4 card skip your turn?

If playable, that card can be played, but you may also choose not to play the new card either.

You can check our guide on how to win at UNO to improve your chances of winning every game.

How do you never lose in UNO?

Unless you cheat, which is something we disapprove of, there is no such thing as never losing in UNO.

Luck, your skills, and your friends’ skills will always make every game different.

If you don’t have a playable card in your hand, you must pick one card from the draw pile.

If you draw a card you can play, you may play it.

What are the UNO rules for 2 players?

The following rules apply for two-player UNO:

  • Playing a Reverse card works like playing a Skip card and you can play a second card immediately
  • By playing a Skip card you can play another card immediately.
  • After playing a Draw 2 or Wild Draw 4 card, your opponent draws the number of cards indicated and you can play another card.

No card to play in UNO?

If you don’t have a playable card in your hand, you must pick one card from the draw pile.

If you draw a card you can play, you may play it.

Do you have to say UNO to win?

You don’t have to say UNO to win.

Remember you must say UNO when playing your second-to-last card but, if for some reason you forget to do it and no opponent calls on you before the next player starts its turn, you are safe and the game can continue.

No more cards in the draw pile in UNO

If no one is out of cards by the time the draw pile is depleted, reshuffle the discard pile leaving the last played card on top, and continue playing.
